If your dream weekend involves feeding slot machines and schmoozing with celebrity chefs like Gordon Ramsay, Giada De Laurentiis, and Bobby Flay, you're going to want to book a plane ticket to Las Vegas this May. The 12th Annual Vegas Uncork'd by Bon Appétit experience is bringing together some of the coolest chefs for a weekend of food demos, meet and greets, and happy hours.
Gordon Ramsay is hosting not one but two events, both of which involve his recipes and lots of booze. The Gordon Ramsay Hell's Kitchen Master Series event will take place on Thursday, May 10 at Ramsay's newest restaurant. Hell's Kitchen at Caesars Palace was, of course, inspired by his hit show. At the dinner, mega-fans will recognize some of the dishes from the show. Courses like Ramsay's famous Beef Wellington will be paired with specially crafted cocktails, and familiar faces from Hell's Kitchen may be in the crowd. If you opt for the VIP experience, you can meet with Ramsay himself and sit at the chef's table near the restaurant's open kitchen.
On Saturday, May 12, Ramsay is hosting a more casual Pub Reception and Beer Tasting, where guests can sip on brews and snack on small bites. This happy hour will be held at Ramsay's Pub and Grill.
Throughout the weekend, there are plenty of other celebrity events to attend, depending on how many pennies you're willing to drop. Giada De Laurentiis is hosting Coffee & Cake With Giada at her new fast-casual restaurant, Pronto, and Bobby Flay is hosting a brunch featuring foods from his New York restaurant, Gato.
Cake Boss fans, you can watch a cake decorating demonstration by Buddy Valastro at Buddy and Lisa's This Is How We Do It event. The couple will be around to chat, and guests can try dishes from Buddy's V Ristorante menu and Lisa's kitchen.
The events aren't cheap — Ramsay's Master Series dinner costs $499 — and they're selling out fast, so head to the Uncork'd website soon if you plan to go.
