Olive Garden's iconic breadsticks just got one cheesy upgrade. The chain just added a new item to its lunch menu, and if you're the kind of person who believes cheese and bread are the best food groups, you'll want to sit down before reading another word.

This is the Meatball Pizza Bowl, and it's pure food porn.

It's made from pizza dough, but it tastes just like an Olive Garden breadstick thanks to the same herbs and spices on top. The dough is shaped into a soup bowl and filled with three kinds of cheeses — Parmesan, mozzarella, and asiago — plus meat sauce and spicy Italian meatballs. There is an excessive amount of cheese, in the best way possible.

Aside from all that gooey cheese, the spicy sausage and meat sauce reminded us of Spaghetti-Os. Like the kids favorite, this bowl is definitely full-on comfort food. Plus, after you take a few bites, the bread bowl can be used as a scooper, which is obviously the best part.

The Pizza Bowl is part of the new Lunch Duos menu, which gives you an entree and unlimited soup or salad with breadsticks, starting at $6.99 (price may vary by location). The sticks are kind of unnecessary given all the dough already going on, but at least you won't run out. Other entrees on the lunch menu include breadstick sandwiches, classic pastas, and the chicken and cheese piadina (which looks like an Italian quesadilla).

Don't worry — this dish has already earned its keep on the permanent menu. While it's technically a lunch item, Olive Garden servers say it can be ordered any time throughout the day. If you're looking for an at-home version, try our Garlic Bread Pizza Dip.
