Vending machine are great and all, but vending machines that give away cocktails for free? Even better. This week in London, UK-based spirits brand, LoneWolf, is giving away free gin and tonics via a vending machine located at the city's Old Street Station.
The canned G+Ts are a new line from LoneWolf, the distilling part of the Scottish brewery BrewDog. But before you go to the vending machine, you'll first need a token. To get one, all you need to do is tweet the hashtag #TheWolfofOldStreet at @LoneWolfSpirits.
In addition to promoting their new premixed cocktail line, the vending machine is actually a throwback to the prohibition of gin in London in the 1800s, when bar owners would pass shots of gin through hidden slots to those who wanted them.
"Gin distillation is something that runs through the veins of London's cultural history and this vending machine installation gave us the ideal opportunity to combine innovation with the cunning wisdom of the past to unleash our LoneWolf Gin and Tonic cans on London," LoneWolf managing director Doug Bairner told the Morning Advertiser.
Even if you can't make it to London before the PR stunt ends, you can still get your hands on the premixed gin and tonics at Tesco stores in the UK.
