It seems like every major ice cream brand hit the ground running this winter. We've seen new flavors and products from Magnum, Ben & Jerry's, and Halo Top. Now, Häagen-Dazs is up to bat with 12 new desserts, including a mash-up of two of the best things in life: ice cream and cookies.
Häagen-Dazs recently added Dulce de Leche and Vanilla Ice Cream Cookie Squares to its ice cream line-up, both of which feature dark chocolate cookies, ice cream, and a chocolate shell (milk chocolate for Dulce de Leche and dark chocolate for Vanilla). The only flaw... they come in three-packs, so you better hope there's some two-for-one deals going on.
Along with the cookie squares, Häagen-Dazs also dropped three new TRIO Crispy Layers flavors. Each one has two flavors of ice cream and a layer of crispy Belgian or white chocolate. For anyone who has a hard time choosing between ice cream flavors, these are for you.
The new TRIO Crispy Layers include Vanilla Caramel White Chocolate, Coconut Caramel Chocolate, and Lemon Raspberry White Chocolate (below from left to right).
Adding to the plethora of non-dairy ice cream options now available in grocery stores, Häagen-Dazs' new products include four dairy-free flavors: Chocolate Salted Fudge Truffle, Peanut Butter Chocolate Fudge, Mocha Chocolate Cookie, and Coconut Caramel.
They were tested at select Target's this summer, and are now being released nationwide. Instead of using milk alternatives like soy or almond milk, they rely on peanut butter, coconut cream, or Belgian chocolate to make a creamy base.
All of the new products are rolling out nationwide in the next few weeks, and some new flavors will be available at Häagen-Dazs scoop shops starting in February.
