There's nothing like the plight of an empty Girl Scout cookie box. You can hoard as many packages of Thin Mints in the freezer as you like, but inevitably, you'll run out before the kids come knocking next year. Even brands that launch products that riff on the cookies — coffee creamer, candy bars — tend to only keep them around for a limited time. The whole give-and-take shtick is pretty savage, which is why we're going to go out on a hyperbolic limb and call Yoplait's latest move straight-up heroic.

The yogurt giant is releasing a trio of cups in flavors inspired by three of our favorite Girl Scout cookies. The best part: The new line is a permanent, year-round addition to the dairy aisle, meaning the flavors won't disappear when cookie-selling season ends. Yoplait's making the Thin Mints and Peanut Butter Chocolate (AHA Tagalongs) varieties in Whips! form, which has a lighter, mousse-like texture compared to its standard yogurts. The Caramel Coconut flavor (consider it a nod to Samoas), is in the style of Yoplait Original — smooth and creamy.
It's not the first time Yoplait has tried that last combo. It launched a caramel coconut flavor for a limited time in 2015. It wasn't branded with the Girl Scouts logo, but some eagle-eyed cookie obsessives noticed how similar the flavor profile was to Samoas. This time around, it'll be obvious: By the end of the month, stores nationwide will be stocking the flavors, all marked with the Girl Scouts' seal.
