UPDATE: November 16, 2018 at 11:35 a.m.
It is without a doubt the most wonderful time of the year: Chick-fil-A's all-time best seasonal milkshake is back in stores. The Peppermint Chocolate Chip shake comes around each winter, objectively blowing their (also delicious) Cookies and Creme shake out of the water.
The shakes are "hand-spun the old-fashioned way," Chick-fil-A says, which means they blend vanilla ice cream with pieces of peppermint and chocolate chips. Like all Chick-fil-A shakes, it’s topped with whipped cream.
If you haven't tried one yet, I suggest you stop what you're doing and go get some waffle fries and a shake immediately. You won't regret it. According to Chick-fil-A's blog, the limited-time shake will only be around until January 5.

Milkshakes in winter might sound ridiculous, but cold-on-cold is worth it when it means getting your hands on Chick-fil-A's seasonal shake. The Peppermint Chocolate Chip shake has been on Chick-fil-A's winter menu for years, and as of November 10, is officially back in stores for the season.
In case you haven't tasted the deliciousness that is these shakes, they're made with Chick-fil-A "Icedream," peppermint, and chocolate chips, and topped with whipped cream and a maraschino cherry. They're definitely heavy on the peppermint taste, so if you're not a candy cane fan, you might not be into it. But honestly, they taste like Christmas in a cup, so you should probably try one anyway (with a side of waffle fries, of course).
The hand-spun shakes will be available through January 6 at all Chick-fil-A locations. If you're really a fan, Chick-fil-A has posted a recipe for a peppermint milkshake pie made with the shake, chocolate creme cookies (like Oreos), chocolate chips and peppermint candies that you can try.
Since peppermint is the unofficial flavor of winter, there are plenty of other seasonal treats with the fresh flavor, like peppermint churros at Disneyland, peppermint mocha coffee at Dunkin' Donuts, and peppermint hot cocoa at Starbucks.
