There's a new hot chocolate that you can cozy up with this winter courtesy of 7-Eleven. The brand just partnered with Oreo to release an exclusive new flavor that's about to take your hot chocolate-drinking to the next level.
According to a release, Oreo Mint hot chocolate is a limited-edition flavor that's now available at all 7-Eleven locations, and it comes just in time for the holidays. The drink, as the name reveals, is made to mimic the taste of Oreo Mint, the second-highest selling Oreo flavor behind the original. So this means that if you really want to get festive this season, you can opt to eat your Oreos with the mint-flavored beverage as opposed to Oreo's own hot cocoa.
"Our customer research indicated that mint chocolate was a wanted winter flavor," 7-Eleven's Senior Category Manager Shawn Barnes said in a release. "So we worked with our supplier to make sure we were the only ones to have one of the most-recognized brands in our mint hot chocolate."
This isn't 7-Eleven's first time carrying an Oreo-flavored hot chocolate. Back in 2015, the convenience store rolled out a hot chocolate flavored with the original Oreo which they sold for six months.
