We've seen a lot of beer pong variations in our day. Roomba pong, prosecco pong, and even Quidditch pong exist, making the frat-party game fun regardless of your drink or pop culture preferences. But nothing has been quite as genius as getting our other favorite liquid involved.
Del Taco rose to the cheesy occasion and created Queso Pong after a Facebook post asking "Who's got next?" went viral. In the post, beer is replaced by queso, and tortilla chips sub in for ping pong balls. After thousands of likes and comments showed people were down to play, Del Taco decided to step things up, ditching the solo cups and creating a full-on Queso Pong pack.
The packs include a rule sheet, Del Taco cups, enough queso to fill 12 cups, a bag of chips, and a carrying pack. There's a catch, though — they're being offered for an *extremely* limited time at one lucky location: 11066 Santa Monica Blvd. in Los Angeles, near UCLA's campus. Twenty lucky pong players can get a free pack tomorrow, November 10, starting at 8 p.m.
If you're not in the L.A. area, you could definitely hack the game yourself with a quick Del Taco run. The Tex-Mex chain introduced queso blanco to its menu in August, around the same time as Chipotle. A side of chips and queso will cost you $1.29, and a side of just queso is a buck.
