If there's one thing you can count on, it's Dunkin' Donuts love of seasonal donuts. The coffee chain went all out for Halloween, changing every item in the display case into a spookier version, so we knew they had to do something great for the winter holidays.
Along with the return of the Snowflake Sprinkle donut, Dunkin' is adding two new donuts to its menu for a limited time, and they combine two of our favorite desserts: donuts and cookies. First up is the Frosted Sugar Cookie Donut. Not only is it stuffed with cookie dough-flavored filling, it's also covered in white frosting and topped with frosted sugar cookie crumbles. It sounds like a donut-meets cookie dough-meets frosted animal cookie situation, and we're ready for it.
If you prefer your Christmas cookies shaped like gingerbread men, the new Gingerbread Cookie Donut will speak to your soul. It's a caramel-frosted donut, which is pretty rare for Dunkin', and topped with gingerbread cookie crumbles, obvs.
Along with these new items, Dunkin' is bringing back two holiday coffee flavors: Peppermint Mocha and Brown Sugar Cinnamon (do we smell another Pop-Tarts collab?). Like all the brand's limited-time flavors, you can get them as a hot or cold coffee, latte, macchiato, or frozen coffee drink. Snowflake-sprinkled chocolate munchkins are coming back for the season too.
The new menu items are rolling out this month, and will be available at all participating stores by November 20. They'll be in stores through the holiday season, along with Dunkin's festive coffee cups.
