UPDATE: December 5, 2017 at 4:58 p.m.

McDonald's teased back in October that the fast food giant would be rolling out an entirely new value menu, though the restaurant didn't provide any further details on which items would be on it. It wasn't until Tuesday that the restaurant finally unveiled what customers can expect from the beloved bargain menu's return.

Once the value menu makes its way back, customers will be able to choose from multiple items priced from $1 to $3. $1 menu items will include soft drinks at any size, cheeseburgers, the McChicken, and the Sausage Burrito, while small McCafe drinks, the Bacon McDouble, the Sausage McGriddle, and the 2-Piece Buttermilk Crispy Tenders will all go for $2. For $3, you can score a Classic Chicken sandwich, a Triple Cheeseburger, a Happy Meal, or a Sausage and Egg McMuffin.

The new menu will reportedly be available by the end of the year.

Three years after McDonald's devastated us all by getting rid of the beloved dollar menu, the fast food chain announced that the budget menu is making its return by as early as 2018. According to the company, the new menu will include items priced at $1, $2, and $3.

Despite it being wildly popular among customers, McDonald's did away with the dollar menu back in 2014 as the result of receiving a number of complaints from franchise owners claiming that the value prices were hurting sales, rather than helping them. As an alternative, the company introduced the McPick 2 which allowed customers to mix and match two select menu items for just $5, but that deal was also eventually discontinued despite rumors that it might return soon.

Rumors of the dollar menu's re-introduction originally began to swirl back in July, though nothing about the promotion was confirmed until now. McDonald's has been making some big changes lately — like removing artificial ingredients from chicken McNuggets and even adding caramel macchiatos to the McCafe menu — proving that the company has been paying close attention to customer concerns and interests. Hopefully, considering how popular the dollar menu is among customers, it'll be here to stay this time around.
