According to Business Insider and Foursquare, the most popular fast food chain in Texas in In-N-Out, but Texans aren't buying it.
"For the study, we looked at which chains received the most visits on average in every state based on the total number of visits to each chain divided by the number of locations in that state," Business Insider wrote.
After posting the results of their study to Facebook and Twitter, it set off a chain of outraged reactions, particularly among Texans who were in complete disbelief that the California chain In-N-Out could possibly be more popular than Whataburger in their state.

While Business Insider has since deleted the offending Tweet, it didn't stop Texans on Twitter from expressing their disbelief and outrage.
Considering that In-N-Out only has 35 restaurants in the entire state of Texas, while Whataburger has almost 200 locations in the Houston area alone, per My San Antonio, we completely agree that this list seems more than a bit suspect.
