Like their bagel counterpart, the pancakes fall somewhere between golf ball and baseball-sized, and when you bite into them, they ooze with maple syrup. Bantam founders Nick and Elyse Oleksak were inspired to create them for the same reason they crated bagel balls: "Our goal is to take foods that give you that happy, cozy 'Saturday morning' feeling and make them accessible for an everyday burst of guilt-free, easy enjoyment," they said in a press release.

The Oleksak's Manhattan shop has been open and peddling bagel balls since 2013, and since then, Bantam's had a sold-out run on QVC and been named one of Oprah's Favorite Things. A stint on Shark Tank — and a subsequent investment from Lori Grenier — even helped them get a deal with Starbucks, landing their product in stores nationwide.

Right now, the new pancakes are sold through Bantam's website and at their Bleecker Street outpost, but come October, you'll be able to find them in the freezer section of select grocery stores across the country. The six starter flavors strike a good balance between classic and indulgent: The homestyle, chocolate chip, banana praline, and apple cinnamon varieties are all stuffed with buttered maple cream, while the strawberry shortcake and blueberry balls have a fresh lemon cream filling.
