They say trends always come around again, but the unlikeliest one is making a return. Budweiser is trying to make Prohibition popular once again. It seems as impossible as trying to make "fetch" happen, but the beer conglomerate is determined. Last year, they launched a non-alcoholic beer in Canada, and early next year, they've got plans to do the same in the UK.

Apparently, boozing without actually drinking booze is a thing across the pond: Non-alcoholic beer sales showed growth in Europe from 2010 to 2015. The same can't be said for America … which is why we can't have nice things, like beer for class acts. The Budweiser Prohibition Brew, as it's called, tastes just like its alcoholic counterpart, so say the brewery's bigwigs. It's brewed the same way, with the same hops, yeast, and filtered water. Then, during the final stages of aging, the alcohol is removed through a special process.

Whether the content of the can appeals to you, the design is cute enough to make you want to grab a six-pack off the shelf. The font looks like it was stripped from a 1920s newspaper, and it's a welcome contradiction to the grab-me colors and images today's breweries use.

Budweiser says they have no plans to bring the beer to the U.S. any time soon, so you'll have to cross a border to get it. Then again, do you want to work that hard for a booze that doesn't pack any buzz? Your call.
