Well folks, it's that time again. Krispy Kreme's Pumpkin Spice Original Glazed Donuts are back for an ENTIRE week. According to the brand, the fan-favorite fall flavor will hit stores September 16 (AKA today!!!) and be gone again by September 22.
And while, sure, it'll be a bittersweet goodbye (as was our farewell to the cheesecake kreme-stuffed ones), at least we've got the Pumpkin Spice Cake doughnut and Pumpkin Spice Latte through Thanksgiving.

If you've already shifted gears from pumpkin spice to peppermint, prepare to switch back for a moment. Now that Thanksgiving is almost here (remember when pumpkin pie was the only pumpkin in our life?), Krispy Kreme is bringing back its Pumpkin Spice Original Glazed donut for one short but sweet week. Starting Friday, November 16 through Thanksgiving Day, November 22, the fall donut will be back in stores.
Also on menus—the Cinnamon Swirl donut, a new cake flavor that tastes very much like a cinnamon roll.

With pumpkin infiltrating everything from deodorant to Kit-Kats, brands have to differentiate themselves somehow if they want their fall-flavored treat to make waves.
Krispy Kreme's method? Selling the Pumpkin Spice Glazed Doughnut for one day only. That's it. If you don't get one on September 8, you're out of luck.
According to the Krispy Kreme website, all locations will participate except those in Foley and Mobile, Alabama and in Louisiana.
The doughnut was first released last year on October 26 in celebration of National Pumpkin Day, also as a one-day only celebration. It was the first time the chain's Original Glazed recipe had been changed at all, and was followed up by this year's eclipse-themed Chocolate Glazed doughnut.
Krispy Kreme isn't totally playing with our pumpkin-loving hearts, though—they also have a Pumpkin Spice Cake doughnut that's available during the fall at most store locations.
