Hey, Upper East Siders. Blake Lively celebrated her 30th birthday over the weekend, and rather than throwing a fancy party or hitting up the clubs with her girl squad, she celebrated in the most Blake Lively way possible. With tons of sweets. Cupcakes are this girl's best friend.
Lively's birthday was so low-key that you may have missed the memo all together, but the actress gave us a few glimpses into her celebration on Instagram, and given that she's a chocoholic (and had the most epic dessert table at her wedding), it's no surprise that she had desserts on desserts on desserts.
From the snaps, it seems like Lively celebrated with a small dinner with close friends, including actress Anna Kendrick and designers Lorraine Schwartz and Ofira Sandberg (and we're sure her husband, Ryan Reynolds, was there, too), and whether or not dinner was actually served, they did dine on some pretty epic sweets. Just how epic are we talking?
Sprinkles Cupcakes, Levain Bakery cookies, a chocolate drip cake, and a birthday cake (because you have to).
Though Lively joked about about the bash being "My super sweet 16. … but like 14 years late," we think dirty 30 takes the cake.
