Early forecasts suggest we're a long way from sweater weather, but if you've gone grocery shopping lately, you wouldn't know it. Pumpkin Spice season is nearly upon us, and the first glimmers of that cinnamon-y, nutmeg-laced time of year is already creeping onto store shelves.

Ice Cream

It's official: as of August 30, Ben and Jerry's Pumpkin Cheesecake ice cream is back on shelves. This year, you can stock up on the graham-cracker-swirled ice cream online, too – pints start shipping out next week, but supplies are limited.

Caramels

First, readers at The Impulsive Buy spotted limited-edition Werther's Soft Caramels at Dollar General stores — a sighting corroborated by Instagram posts for the chewy candies.

Cereal

Next came the Invasion Of The Pumpkin Spice Cereals: Cheerios' and Life's gourd-inspired foods started popping up, allowing you to have a breakfast worthy of Jack Skellington a full 90 days before All Hallows Eve.

Coffee and Creamer

From there, pumpkin spice started infiltrating the other morning must-have: coffee. Pumpkin Spice creamer and Starbucks fall blends (including an end-cap display at Publix stocked with Pumpkin Spice ground coffee) emerged.

The 'Bucks hasn't announced when the PSL is coming back — though, if history tells us anything, it's probably Labor Day weekend — but now, you don't have to wait another minute. That glorious harbinger of turning leaves, Hocus Pocus marathons, and days wrapped in infinity scarves is upon us.

Chocolates

As if that weren't enough, even your packaged desserts aren't safe. Ghirardelli's Pumpkin Spice Caramel-filled chocolates are already on the shelves at certain Stop & Shop stores — and on sale, no less.

Cookies

Milano cookies — AKA the classy second cousin Oreo wishes it had — has gotten a basic makeover. The vanilla wafer cookies feature a cinnamon-infused chocolate in the middle. And they're already the subject of Instagram jokes online.

Greek Yogurt

Even your favorite high-protein-but-still-tastes-like-dessert snack isn't safe from pumpkin spicification. (Yes, that's the technical term.) Multiple people have Instagrammed stacks of Dannon's Light & Fit Pumpkin Pie greek yogurt.

Of course, just because these treats have been spotted all over the country doesn't mean they're in your store, per se. Product shipments can vary from store to store, so your supermarket may not have the PSL hookup ... yet. Give it a couple days, though, and you might roll your cart into a world like this:

Resistance is futile.
