What you may not realize about your daily cup of coffee is that it's contributing to millions of pounds of waste. Every year, when coffee beans are extracted from the fruit they grow in, something called the husk is tossed aside. Instead of adding to this enormous amount of waste, you can actually chip away at it — all by using this coffee cup.

Created by HuskeeTech, a new series of reusable resin cups are made from said husk. Basically you can now drink your morning coffee from coffee — how cool is that?! But the cups are also chip and crack resistant, dishwasher safe, and will keep your coffee hotter for longer than the average ceramic mug.

Marketed via Kickstarter toward coffee houses across the globe, the Australian-made cup is also available to consumers in four-packs, in either 6, 8, or 12-ounce sizes. You can also choose from a matte black or white finish. If you'd like a variety, the accompanying saucers are universally and all of the cups are made to stack together. Right now, a set of four starts at $35, but the Kickstarter deal may sell out if you aren't quick.

Honestly, we're still in awe of how meta this all is.
