Tabasco

Arguably one of the most iconic hot sauces, Tabasco has made its way into American households since 1868. And while it's not the hottest or most flavorful (we personally reserve better rankings to the likes of Cholula and Sriracha), the classic recipe has most definitely withstood the test of time. But now, after opening a restaurant dedicated to its sauce, the Louisiana-born brand is launching a brand new product that leaves all others in the dust.

Introducing Scorpion Sauce, a madcap creation that's 20 times hotter than Tabasco's original recipe. That's right, it's the most fiery, sweat-inducing, eye-watering sauce Tabasco has ever created — thanks to scorpion peppers, the second-hottest pepper in the world, after the Carolina Reaper, that grows in Trinidad and Tobago. The new recipe also includes sweet guava, tangy pineapple, and a bit of the OG red sauce so you still know you're eating Tabasco.

We're really not sure why you'd want to put yourself through more than 2,009,231 points on the Scoville scale, but to each her own. So if you're into burning your face off, then move quickly — you can order Scorpion Sauce on the company's website beginning today, but it will only be available until the small-batch bottles sell out.
