Did you realize you can build a fully-functional Oreo and milk vending machine using mostly just a few pieces of cardboard, a DC motor, a nine-volt battery and a lot of hot glue?

Not only is it possible, but also only takes just a little bit over 15 minutes to build, according to one of the latest DIY videos from Mini Gear, a YouTube channel dedicated to making motorized contraptions using recycled materials.

While we never knew we needed an Oreo and milk vending machine in our lives, we're totally obsessed with having one of these at our desks for snack time. As it turns out, a lot of other people would agree with us. Since the video was posted two weeks ago, it has racked up over 6.3 million views so far.

But before you get too excited, you'll need to gather the following materials to build this cardboard contraption:

  • Mini Air-pump DC motor
  • 9v Battery & battery cap
  • LED, and Wire
  • Cardboard
  • Battery cover
  • Tube
  • Rubber
  • Plastic book cover
  • Ice-cream stick & BBQ bamboo stick
  • Hot glue gun
