The Pioneer Woman may have traded in black heels for tractor wheels, moving from the city to the country, but that doesn't mean her life's slowed down — especially not in recent years. In addition to running the website that made her a household name, designing a cookware line for Walmart, opening a restaurant/general store in Pawhuska, managing a ranch, starring in a Food Network show (phew— out of breath yet?), and launching a magazine, PW's releasing a new cookbook this fall.

The new cookbook's called Come And Get It, featuring recipes for people who don't have time to spend hours over the stove. So basically, PW — AKA Ree Drummond — is taking inspiration from her own life on this one. Drummond posted a teaser on her blog, promising that the book will contain several new, never-posted-before dishes, so this won't just be a rehash of her greatest hits.

Every section of the book is devoted to making dinner in a flash, with chapters on sheet pan dinners, meals under 30 minutes, and meals under 20 minutes. One of her biggest time-saving hacks involves busting out that suburban dinner staple, the slow cooker. In her post, Drummond says there will be plenty of appetizers and dinners all using the set-it-and-forget-it gadget, including a recipe for her restaurant, The Mercantile's, famous queso.

That recipe should be one to check out; Pioneer Woman's been on a mission to create the best cheese sauce at home after falling in love with one restaurant's version while visiting her daughter in college almost two years ago.

"It's a drive-thru joint called Fuego, and I think they put something illegal in it, because I can't figure it out," Drummond told us in late 2015. "You buy it by the pint, and I've eaten it hot, I've eaten it cool, I've cut it into slices and examined it, trying to figure out the recipe. It's the best queso I've ever had."

Drummond also teased a salmon and kale sheet pan dinner, huevos rancheros, all kinds of crostini, and what appeared to be meatloaf cupcakes.

The cookbook doesn't hit stores until Oct. 24, but in less than 24 hours since Drummond posted her teaser, the book's already skyrocketed to the No. 2 post in Amazon's Movers And Shakers category for books (just behind Dr. Travis Stork's The Lose Your Belly Diet). You can preorder a copy here.
