Ah, to be a kid in the '90s: It was the golden era of cereal, where boxes blurred the lines between dessert and dentist's dream come true. For years, one brand has consistently made the lists of throwback treats people wish would make a comeback — with some turning to eBay or asking friends to ship them boxes from South Korea, where it's still sold. We're talking about Oreo O's.

For the unfamiliar, Oreo O's are circular, chocolatey-oat cereal covered in a creme coating. They contained real Oreo cookie bits, and were about as close as kids could get to feasting on cookies and milk for breakfast without getting side-eye from Mom.

Just seven short years after debuting on grocery store shelves, they disappeared — until now. Post has confirmed Oreo O's cereal is back in production in the U.S. and will be hitting stores everywhere this June.

It won't have the marshmallow bits the Korean version has, but it does mean you won't have to get into bidding wars — or scrape together up to $226 for a box, like this one's going for on eBay.

This news comes just after Clearly Canadian staged its comeback, an entire bakery opened in New York devoted to Ring Dings, and PV Donuts in Rhode Island sent people into a frenzy for its Dunkaroos donuts, proving that the '90s revival isn't just happening in fashion; it's big in food, too. Now if only Sprinkle Spangles, Jurassic Park Crunch, and Cupcake Pebbles would launch a reunion tour.
