Back in March, Dunkin' Donuts faced some serious backlash online after it pulled the Coffee Coolatta from its menu. Now, most likely to heal those wounds and make amends with its bleeding-heart fans, the coffee chain will be handing out free samples of the new frozen drink that replaced it.
Dunkin's new Frozen Coffee apparently tastes more like coffee than its predecessor, containing coffee extract, ice, liquid cane sugar, and dairy. According to the brand's website, you can add a flavor shot (unsweetened) like french vanilla, hazelnut, caramel, toasted almond, coconut, blueberry, or raspberry; or a flavor swirl (sweetened) like caramel, french vanilla, hazelnut, and mocha.
The drink debuted at locations nationwide today but on May 19, it will be totally free. Just stop into a participating location between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to score a free sample. After a few sips, you'll be cool and caffeinated.
