Sparkling wine is the global indicator of celebration. Birthdays, promotions, engagements, the arrival of Friday after a long week—at any happy occasion, a bottle of bubbly is welcomed. The only bummer about champagne, prosecco, or cava is the resulting hangover, as those wines are notoriously packed with sugar.

Casa Gancia, a sparkling wine producer based in Piedmont, Italy, has released Gancia Leggero, a "light" prosecco with only 65 calories per glass. It also has way less sugar than typical prosecco, according to the company—like 75% less. Resist the urge to guzzle like water, though, as Gancia Leggero still has a typical alcohol content at 11.5%.

Okay, now for the bad news. Casa Gancia is only selling their diet prosecco at a few pubs in London for its first six months, with full roll-out into the U.K. coming later. You'll have to wait even longer before it shows up in the U.S.
