If you're anything like every member of team Delish, then you're obsessed with seltzer. Or Club soda. Or bubbly water. Whatever you wanna call it. Because there's just something about carbonated H20 that's so much better than flat. It pairs well with a slice of lime or lemon, gives you an afternoon pick-me-up, and feels overall more summery than its still counterpart. That's why we were stoked to hear that Sodastream wants to give away free sparkling water machines.
After news broke that its competitor, Keurig, was discontinuing its KOLD soda machine, Sodastream decided to get cheeky: The brand is now shilling complimentary machines to anyone who owns a Keurig Kold. All you have to do is email the company a photo of yourself (pouting, perhaps?) to info@sodastreamsupport.com and include the machine's serial number, your name, address, and phone number. In return, you'll get a promo code to redeem for a free SodaStream Fountain Jet machine.
You better move quick, though. This offer will only be available to the first 2,000 people who shoot off emails to Sodastream on or before June 17. You do have to pay for the shipping, but that's just chunk change when you're getting an $80 appliance on the house.
"At SodaStream, we have long known that the future of at-home carbonated beverages would not be single-serve, sugary drinks but rather multi-serve, sustainable sparkling waters," Doug Pritchard, president of SodaStream North America, said in a press release. "So we invite disappointed Kold users to enjoy fresh sparkling water at home every day." Ohh, burn.
