Prepare yourself for a big Hershey kiss: the Pennsylvania-based chocolate makers have recently started adding real vanilla to their chocolate products—instead of the artificial version "vanillin."

According to Time, the company implemented the change a few weeks ago—and the AP reports that the bags of chocolates hitting shelves right now will contain the new ingredient. Earlier this year, company executives announced that they would be making a corporate-wide move to replace all artificial ingredients with those that are "simple" and "easier to understand."

Hershey's joins a number of companies that are moving away from the fake stuff: Kellogg's, Campbell's, Kraft, and General Mills have all made announcements in the past few months declaring that their products will be artificial ingredient-free. Considering the weight of these heavy-hitters, it won't be long before other companies follow—if for no other reason than peer pressure.

BRB, eating ALL the chocolate.
