Starry / Popeyes

Aside from the actual football game, the Super Bowl is all about the food, drinks, and commercials. And for us, it's all about the commercials for our favorite snacks, beer, and soda. Whether you'll be watching the big game or not, plenty of brands have already released their Super Bowl commercials online. From Starry and Mountain Dew Baja Blast to Popeyes and Doritos, brands this year spent, on average, $7 million per 30-second spot. So let's hope they're at least kind of funny, right? Lucky for you, we gathered all the food and drink commercials in one place and ranked them from worst to best.

Which one is your favorite?

Michelob Ultra

If I drink Michelob Ultra, will I be able to play soccer like Lionel Messi? The cameo by Ted Lasso's Jason Sudeikis made this one for me.

We've all had awkward, tense moments. If only the Coors Light Chill Train driven by LL Cool J could swoop in and save us...

3

Popeyes

Howie, played by comedian Ken Jeong, cryogenically froze himself in 1972 waiting for Popeyes to add chicken wings to its menu. Now, over 50 years later, Jeong gets to experience Popeyes' new wings, along with all of the things he's missed over the years, like robot vacuums, goldendoodles, and drones.

Mountain Dew Baja Blast

This one's for Parks and Recreation fans. Known for her deadpan humor, Aubrey Plaza sips on Baja Blast while "having a blast." In the end she reunites with former co-star Nick Offerman.

1

Starry

I'll forever be a Sprite fan, but the shade thrown in this Starry ad was pretty genius. Ice Spice is chatting with the Starry mascots, Lem and Lime, when she's confronted by her ex-lemon lime soda. Wearing a blurred out green top, we can only assume that her ex is Sprite.
