Each year brings new things to look forward to, and one of those things is always new cookbooks. Some of our favorite cookbooks in 2022 covered a variety of topics, from vegan to paleo food, and a wide variety of cuisines. There was Unbelievably Vegan, with recipes influenced by the author's Puerto Rican and Creole heritage. We also loved Healthier Southern Cooking, Andy Baraghani's The Cook You Want to Be, and the last volume of Alton Brown's Good Eats.

We can't wait to cook from all these highly anticipated cookbooks in 2023. We rounded up the ones we're looking forward to the most—all of which can be preordered now. Whether you're looking to get into barbecuing or pies, or you want to travel the world one recipe at a time, these cookbooks will get you there.
