Before you hop on Instagram and freak out over the alleged NYC debut of In-N-Out Burger (like me), you might want to double check the date. Because, yep, it's April Fool's Day and all our favorite fast food joints are trying to pull one of over on us. Here are all the pranks we wish were actually happening.

Dunkin's Super Dough Holder

Dunkin' posted a hilarious video premiering their super fake "Super Dough Holder," and while the cupholder is not a real thing, why not DIY it? It's just two large donuts around a cup of coffee. I sense a trend starting...

In-N-Out Opening In NYC

Despite it definitely sounding too good to be true, popular Instagram account New York Bucket List fully duped me into thinking In-N-Out was opening 12 locations in NYC this month. Not sure if this makes me super gullible or just hungry, but a 5-story cheeseburger flagship in the Flatiron? I mean, it's the dream.

McDonald's Milkshake Sauce

McDonald's latest—and sadly, fictitious—venture, Shake Sauce tricked fans on Instagram Monday after the brand shared its "sweet new way to dip." For April Fools, the park gave their iconic Micky and Minnie Mouse-inspired ears an edible update. The snears might not be the most functional, but we've got to hand it them—it's also kind of genius.

Shake Shack Shack Sauce

Shake Shack posted an Instagram April 1 with news of their ShackSauce bottle launch and it includes a mini version to clip to your handbag. Only problem? They took to IG stories right after with a roundup of food-sauce pairings and proposed it on cupcakes and donuts. So, now my appetite's gone.

Starbucks' For Dogs

Starbucks takes the cake (or should we say coffee?) for the cutest April Fool's prank. After the brand announced their new dog-only cafe, Pupbucks, fans freaked out and begged for more deets. Sadly, the concept isn't happening IRL—yet. Someone start a petition!
