Well, first you need an account. You have an account, right?

Chef's Table (Season 5)

Dish, Food, Cuisine, Meal, Ingredient, Produce, Meze, Lunch, Indian cuisine, Chinese food,

If you haven't started watching season five of the uber-acclaimed Netflix show, now's your chance. Hole up with Cristina Martinez, Musa Dağdeviren, Bo Songvisava, and Albert Adrià, the stars of this season, and feel as high-brow as you can from your couch watching some of the finest food you've ever seen come to life.

What to make while watching: Nothing you attempt to make will compare. Stick with cranberry mimosas.

Great British Bake Off

Sitting, Jeans, Leisure, Grandparent,
Netflix

Start with the old seasons—the glory days of Paul and Mary. Work your way up to the newest edition, where Paul and Prue find their (extremely British) footing. Try not to cry too hard when you hear the charming intro without Mel and Sue for the first time.

What to make while watching: Get crazy. Attempt this rainbow crepe cake. Feels like something that would impress Paul in a showstopper, no?

Nailed It!

adaptation, meal, conversation, eating,
Netflix

If nothing else, Nailed It! is a complete confident-boosting joy. Give yourself permission to do N-O-T-H-I-N-G but laugh at other people's expensefor a full 48 hours. Well, they laugh at themselves, too, so it's fine. Enjoy.

What to make while watching: Just about any of these crazy Halloween cookies. If you do it like they do on Nailed It!, none of them will turn out like the pictures.

Parts Unknown

Meal, Shopkeeper, Food, Cuisine,
CNN

OK, so Netflix had said they were taking Parts Unknown off the platform at the beginning of the month, but all four seasons of it still remain online. Watch them now and soak up every bit of Tony while you can.

What to make while watching: Any Bourdain recipe, really.

Rotten

Atmospheric phenomenon, Snow, Freezing, Blizzard,
Netflix

Alright, this isn't exactly light-hearted television (it's about the state of the food supply industry, which is, well, pretty rotten), but it's necessary viewing and fascinating as hell. Watch it in a weekend, then tell all your friends to do the same.

What to make while watching: Let's keep it, um, simple for this particular binge. Might I suggest this vegan kale Caesar salad?

Anyone who'd read Samin Nosrat's cookbook of the same name was amped to hear she had a show coming to Netflix, and from first reports, it has not disappointed. Watch her travel the world, love her even more.

What to make while watching: This hearty mac & cheese pairs well, TBH.

Sugar Rush

It's like a Great British Bake Off for anyone who watches that show and goes "yes! But with way more competitiveness."

What to make while watching: Try these succulent cupcakes. You can do it. You can!

The Big Family Cooking Showdown

Netflix

Remember Nadiya from GBBO? She went on to star in this show, which is also delightful and features a lot of other delightful people with gorgeous accents.

What to make while watching: Whatever your family is best at! Mine's pretty good at chili.

The Curious Creations Of Christine McConnell

Hand, Ear, Shoe, Clothes iron, Small appliance,

Goodness, this show is a weird-as-hell delight. Turn the lights off and...get weird (I guess? Lol? Ew?) while watching the whole show in one sitting. You'll have adorable nightmares about her creepy critter friends.

What to make while watching: Cookie eyes. How appropriate.

Another show that'll make you feel like you know very well what you're talking about when it comes to any food ever. Thanks, @DavidChang.

What to make while watching: You'll never make it to Brooklyn's Lucali. May as well make your own pizza to be proud of.

Not a television show, obviously, but makes for a great weekend read.
