While you're safe to eat melon again, the CDC recommends washing your hands and food prep surfaces before and after preparing fruit to avoid food borne illness (as you should always do!).
2Raw Turkey

Note that the CDC is NOT saying you need to avoid eating properly cooked turkey altogether — just make sure you cook your turkey thoroughly before eating it.

3Honey Smacks
Kellogg'sThe CDC issued a firm warning not to eat Honey Smacks, and that has not yet been lifted. Retailers should not be selling the cereal right now, so if you do see it on shelves, don't buy it. As of July 12, 100 cases were reported, with 30 hospitalizations.
4Hy-Vee Spring Pasta Salad
Hy-VeeThis outbreak is still considered active. Hy-Vee recalled the salad on July 17 for possible salmonella contamination. If you have any in your fridge, throw it away or return it to the store for a refund.

5Ground Beef

Win Opportunity Knocks recalled more than 6,000 pounds of frozen and fresh ground beef on July 18 due to E.coli contamination. If you have any frozen beef in your fridge produced between June 18 and July 11, you'll want to check this list of products to see if it might be contaminated.
6Hungry-Man
WalmartThis recall only affects one specific meal, but you'll want to double check your freezer to make sure you don't have it. Hungry-Man's Chipotle BBQ Sauced Boneless Chicken Wyngz with a best buy date of 9/6/19 have been recalled due to possible salmonella contamination. If you do have one, throw it away or return it.

7Ritz, Goldfish, and Swiss Rolls

While there's no evidence yet that anyone got sick from these products, or that they are contaminated, they may contain a whey ingredient that could have salmonella. To be safe, avoid these products for the time being.
