Another day, another new bag of chips that is calling our names. This time it’s from Frito-Lay’s beloved Doritos brand, so prepare your taste buds for Doritos Twisted Lime!
As indicated on the packaging (and the name would suggest), the flavored tortilla chips have a lime flavor. The zesty flavor is bound to add something a little extra to the chips you know and love.
Although Doritos has yet to announce the new Twisted Lime, it has been popping up on various grocery retailer sites, including Mariano’s, Meijer, Kroger, and Foods Co. The 9.75-ounce bag has also apparently been spotted at Walmart, so it doesn’t sound like we’ll have a tough time hunting it down.
Doritos is certainly giving lime flavor the spotlight this year. In January, the brand introduced the Flamin’ Hot Limón chips to the lineup. They combined the heat you’d find in the Flamin’ Hot Nacho with a tangy lime twist. So it looks like the difference with the new flavor is that they don’t carry that heat, but that citrus punch is certainly there.
