As someone who can eat an entire bag of Cheetos in one sitting, whenever the cheesy snack collaborates with another food brand I get a little too excited. Following the commotion Cheetos made after releasing a sushi and ice cream, the beloved chip is coming to Applebee's restaurants in the form of chicken wings. Needless to say, I'm completely pumped, and you should be too.
There are two new menu items coming to participating Applebee's locations inspired by Cheetos. Take your pick between Cheetos Boneless Wings and Cheetos Cheese Bites, both of which will be sold for around $9.99 and include 10 pieces per order. The wings and the bites come coated in Cheetos crumbles and are served with your choice of a Cheetos wing sauce or Cheetos Flamin' Hot sauce. In my opinion, the Flamin' Hot option is the only way to go, but maybe you can get one order of each just to find your favorite.
In honor of the launch, Applebee's is also giving away a limited edition piece of merch called the "Shirtkin." It's a shirt made from a napkin-like fabric so you can wipe your hands on your shirt after indulging in the Cheetos-coated menu item of your choice without ruining your outfit. The shirts will be given out to unsuspecting fans who engage with Applebee's content online over the coming weeks, so make sure you're following your friendly neighborhood grill to up your chances. After all, a new and integral part of your wardrobe is on the line!
