Happy Snack Wrap Day to all who celebrate! Today marks the momentous occasion when McDonald's finally brings back its beloved Snack Wrap to the masses. The chain recently announced the Snack Wrap's return, and fans have been eagerly awaiting the arrival.

The Snack Wrap now comes in two flavors—Ranch and Spicy, both available for just $2.99. As McDonald's notes, the ranch version delivers "a burst of cool ranch goodness, with hints of garlic and onion," while the spicy iteration features the same habanero kick you've come to know and love in the Spicy McCrispy sandwich. And we got to try both ahead of the launch, so we're sharing our honest review with you here.

Now, let's get into the nitty-gritty. Both snack wraps come filled with crispy chicken, lettuce, and cheese, plus one of the aforementioned sauces. They each come wrapped in a flour tortilla, and let me tell you—Mickey D's knows what it's doing when it comes to a wrap. These were tightly packaged, making them easy to eat without the fillings spilling out everywhere.

Even before you take a bite, as soon as you open the paper, you can tell that these wraps came from McDonald's—that classic scent wafts into your nose. And then the taste proves it. The wraps are good in a quick-bite kind of way. As one Delish editor put it, these are truly snacks and don't really feel like a full meal, but they get the job done. The snack wraps are a perfectly good answer to a midday (or midnight) craving and are a good size for someone who doesn't want to fill up on a full sandwich.

That said, I personally think they could cut down on some of the lettuce and dial up the spice in the crispy chicken breading. But spice lovers won't be disappointed with the chain's Spicy wrap, which really packs in some heat. However, ultimately, with so many other chains hopping on the snack wrap bandwagon, McDonald's might just need to step up their game.
