Are we finally in the era of a Red Lobster comeback?! Fans on social media seem to think so, especially since the seafood chain's new CEO, Damola Adamolekun, recently announced some mouthwatering new additions to its menu—most notably, upping the ante with this year's Crabfest.

The yearly fete is bringing summer straight to you with all-new Seafood Boils in two tasty options. The Mariner's Boil comes with a Maine lobster tail, a dozen shrimp, snow crab legs, corn, and red potatoes, while the Sailor's Boil features a mix of shrimp, smoked sausage, corn, and red potatoes. Diners have the option between different sauces for their boils, including roasted garlic butter, Cajun butter, or Old Bay seasoning.

"Red Lobster's Crabfest is the ultimate summer dining experience," Nichole Robillard, Chief Marketing Officer of Red Lobsterl, said in a press release. "Whether you're a longtime Red Lobster lover or participating in Crabfest for the first time, we've got something to bring everyone joy."

In addition to the highly anticipated seafood boils, Red Lobster is serving up limited-time Seaside Sangria flights, available in mango berry, tropical white, and triple berry flavors, as well as Main Deck Margarita Flights in Caribbean blue, passionfruit, and watermelon flavors. Hit up the chain during happy hour and you can score $5 cocktail specials.

Fans of the chain are seriously hyped by all of the new endeavors taking place at the restaurants. "CEO popped off… he figured out us ladies to a T… seafood boils, margs, and cheddar bay biscuits," commented one person on a TikTok featuring the new seafood boils.

"This is seriously about to be the new spot! This is a CEO that knows what he’s doing. He’s tapped in. He knows what the people want. And consumers want to feel heard and seen. I’m all in. Keep the biscuits coming," wrote another.

Many people chimed in, echoing similar sentiments. "I am beyond fascinated with this rebrand. The CEO really knows what he’s doing. I just might go back to Red Lobster. I could use a biscuit and some hush puppies…." one person commented.

"I haven't been to Red Lobster in a few years but I'm going for this!!" exclaimed another.

One person cut straight to the chase: "Can this new CEO fix Chipotle now too?" they asked. Time will tell!
