Earlier this week, Cracker Barrel brought back its much-anticipated Campfire Menu, which hasn't seen the light of day for seven long years. The beloved meals include Campfire Chicken and Campfire Beef, plus three new additions to the lineup: a Campfire Shrimp Skillet meal and two desserts—S'mores Brownie Skillet and Cinnamon Roll Skillet.
Each meal utilizes the chain's signature blend of Campfire Seasoning, then the ingredients are wrapped in tinfoil, braised, and slow-cooked to produce a mouthwatering entree. The new Campfire Shrimp Skillet combines grilled shrimp, andouille sausage, corn, and potatoes in a buttery broth, served sizzling in a cast-iron skillet.
The classic Campfire Chicken and Campfire Beef meals are accompanied by corn-on-the-cob, red potatoes, carrots, grape tomatoes, and your choice of buttermilk biscuits or cornbread muffins.
For those with a sweet tooth, the S'mores Brownie Skillet features a warm chocolate brownie topped with roasted marshmallow, Hershey's Milk Chocolate, crumbled graham crackers, chocolate sauce, and vanilla ice cream.
Or, go for a Cinnamon Roll Skillet, featuring warm mini cinnamon rolls topped with a sweet cream cheese icing. No matter which one choose, it's hard to imagine you can go wrong.
After the brand announced the new lineup on social media earlier this week, fans of the chain went wild.
"Yasssssss! Been waiting for this. And the new arrivals? 🔥🔥🔥" commented one person.
"I've literally been checking for this every summer for the past 6 years," revealed another.
One customer exclaimed, "I’M ON THE WAY CRACKER BARREL!!!!"
Another fan was quite adamant about how fantastic the menu is: "👏👏OH MY GOD!! I'm loving this . This is fantastic. These meals are fantastic . The baked chicken is fantastic."
Allegedly, you can even purchase Cracker Barrel's Campfire Seasoning after you dine to recreate the dishes at home. "So happy the campfire has come back to the menu. I even bought the seasoning," one happy customer wrote.
Sadly, there's no Cracker Barrel in New York, but you can bet I'll get my hands on these new menu items on my next road trip!
