We are officially in our Dubai chocolate era. Even though the trend gained notoriety a year ago, it shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. After all, you can't really go wrong with pistachio and chocolate. It's honestly a combo we've been sleeping on for way too long if you ask me. And even though Costco already hopped on the Dubai chocolate bandwagon back in March, selling jars of pistachio cream for under $13, the warehouse chain is upping its game with a new Dubai chocolate ice cream bar.

The new ice cream bars are made with milk, cream, pistachio, and kataifi chocolate coating, and are made by the beloved Afters Ice Cream brand. Some lucky Coachella attendees were even able to try the new bars at the music festival, exclaiming, "Those are fire!!" Others who have yet to get their hands on the coveted bars expressed their excitement over the new launch: "Immediately yes," wrote one person. "Ooo those look tasty," commented another.

And while many Costco shoppers seemed eager to get their hands on the new treat, a handful of consumers didn't seem quite as enthusiastic about the new release. "Yikes the ingredients are bad," commented one Instagram user. "22 grams of Fat," one person simply stated. Another person called out the sugar content: "Dam sugar level is over 9000 on that label." Although that one was a slight exaggeration, many people were concerned about the ingredients used in the ice cream bar. Others weren't a fan of the price, which is $17.99 for a box of 10 bars. However, keep in mind the high prices of Dubai chocolate ingredients, and you might rethink the expense. We'll wait till more reviews roll in to place our judgment.
