A Wendy’s and Cheez-It collaboration was definitely not on my 2025 bingo card, but here we are. According to food influencer Snackolator, the fast food chain and snack brand are teaming up to release a Baconator Cheez-It. Yep—that’s right, Wendy’s classic Baconator is being transformed into bite-sized cheesy snacks. I’m sure Kordell Beckham is thrilled (IYKYK).
Details about the launch are still scarce, including the official release date, but we're guessing late spring—though that’s yet to be confirmed. As for the flavor, we don’t know how different these will be from other bacon-flavored Cheez-Its. “The big question for me is how much different these will be from the Sizzlin' Bacon Cheez-Its, because I want to see if we can bring some beef and bacon magic to these little squares of baked cheese,” read the Instagram post.
Even with details under wraps, fans are losing it over the news, with some proclaiming this is the snack collab they’ve been waiting for.
“Dreams do come true 🤤🤤,” one user wrote. “Ok well I see they’ve decided to put two of my favorite foods together,” read another.
Some snackers are curious to see how this Wendy’s and Cheez-It collab will hold up to the previous one with Pringles. Wendy’s fans remember the Baconator-flavored stackable chips, and while opinions on its taste remain divisive, there’s no doubt that it created a demand for more sandwich-themed snacks.
“Hope they’re closer to the flavor profile than the Baconator Pringles that were out a few years back,” wrote one user. “From Baconator Pringles [to] Baconator Cheez-Its? Hell yes,” read another comment.
I’m not even a fan of the Baconator, but I might have to score these snacks when they come out. Because if there’s anything I love, is chips—especially ones with wacky, unexpected flavors.
