You don't need me to tell you that the Dubai chocolate bar is all the rage. However, whether you've actually had a chance to try it for yourself is a whole other story. Even though brick-and-mortar candy shops and online retailers have brought the viral treat stateside, they can be mediocre or just difficult to track down.
The good news is you don't have to wait in a Nut Factory line to finally get a taste. Costco just dropped its own pistachio cream and it's the perfect ingredient if you want to DIY the chocolate bars for yourself. Instagram user @costcohotfinds shared the news to social media earlier this week and fans immediately took to the comment section to brainstorm their own creations.
"I wondered if you can make a DIY Dubai chocolate if you add the pistachio cream with kataifi? Maybe! đ," one user wrote. Another quickly confirmed that yes, they were right.
"I made the Dubai chocolates: used a large ice cube maker for the chocolate, heated shredded wheat cereal with the pistachio cream," that person shared. "They were better than the actual Dubai chocolates!"
While some spun the Dubai chocolate idea ("Dubai chocolate strawberries," one person suggested), others thought outside of the box entirely. "Ooooh could be good for a pistachio macaron filling," a user mulled.
"They put it in croissants in Italy and it is all things good in life," another pointed out. "On a chocolate bagel with fresh berries and toasted pistachios. That's what I'd do. âșïž," a third person commented.
The 21.-2-ounce jar, which is made by authentic Italian brand Pisti, is retailing for $12.99 at the retailerâat least in whatever part of the country @costcohotfinds spotted it. Another TikToker found it for $12.49. If you think that's expensive, just be thankful Costco is selling it at allâthe same spread is $29 on Amazon. Of course, you can always buy some Dubai chocolate bars already made, but if you want to DIY it, and can't get your hands on the Costco pistachio spread IRL (some customers reported that it wasn't sold in their area), try this pistachio butter for $16.
