I firmly believe food is just a vehicle for sauce (especially ranch), so it's safe to say Popeyes' latest news has me overjoyed. The purveyor of Louisiana-style fried chicken is bringing three fan-favorite sauces to grocery stores nationwide.

For the first time ever, customers can get their hands on Popeyes' Blackened Ranch, Sweet Heat, and Mardi Gras Mustard outside of the actual restaurant. I'm not the only one freaking out about the announcement, either. Before the news was even official, fans flooded Reddit with excitement.

"Yes! Mardi Gras mustard and blackened ranch are my jam! This is awesome," one user wrote. "Oh my lord, baptism by blackened ranch," another commented. Others said,"I’m buying sweet heat fo sho 🔥" and "I need that buttermilk ranch in bulk."

Someone else added in the thread that their "dreams have come true."

Now, if you haven't been blessed with the unforgettable flavor experience that comes with tasting a Popeyes sauce, let me be the first to bring you up to speed. The Blackened Ranch features a savory blend of blackened seasonings with creamy buttermilk ranch, while the Sweet Heat combines honey with a dash of Aleppo pepper hot sauce. The seasonal Mardi Gras Mustard, available later this spring, mixes creamy creole mustard with horseradish.

The Sweet Honey and Blackened Ranch will be available in 18-ounce bottles at major retailers beginning March 15. Check Albertsons, Kroger, Food Lion, Walmart, or Amazon for your favorite flavor. The Mardi Gras Mustard will roll out shortly after.

While consumers are obviously thrilled over the launch, not every sauce made the cut for retail. Popeyes' classic menu also includes Bayou Buffalo Sauce, Buttermilk Ranch, Tartar Sauce, Wild Honey Mustard Sauce, Creole Cocktail Sauce, and Nola Dip.

"Need all the sauces in the bottles they’re all so good," one user commented, while someone else chimed in, "It would be nice if they came out with wing sauces too."

"Need the bbq and roasted garlic Parmesan!" another user wrote.
