Just when I thought the Costco food court couldn’t get any better, they proved me wrong. I mean, my mind is still stuck on that cheese dog hack (which totally works, I might add!) and the pizza-in-a-ziploc bag trick. So yeah, things are already pretty epic at the Costco food court. But now it’s even better because Costco has *finally* brought back one of their most famous items. We food-court fans are losing it.

Laura Lamb of CostcoHotFinds—AKA the queen of Costco—announced the retailer is now offering the iconic hot turkey and provolone sandwich. Starting next week, the sandwich will be available to order in all locations. It’s already available in a few Oregon locations, according to some Redditors who’ve ordered the sandwich.

ICYMI, the hot turkey and provolone sandwich was a food court favorite before it was discontinued during the pandemic. Now, Costco has quietly brought it back to its menu. The new sandwich isn’t much different from the original, aside from a price hike (it now sells for $6.99 instead of $3.99) and includes more turkey deli slices and pesto mayo. It’s also made in batches and warmed in the oven rather than made to order. Other than that, it’s the same sandwich we enjoyed a few years ago.

"The bread was so warm and soft, and it had a crunch," Lamb said in her video on Instagram. "I love the garlic mayo. This one is so filling and just incredible."

Fans quickly commented under Lamb’s video, sharing their thoughts and excitement over the news. "Stopppp, absolute best thing ever," one fan wrote. "I used to love those sandwiches when I worked at the store," read another comment.

"YAYYYYYYYYYYYYY🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳. This was the ONLY item I ate at the food court for years!!!!!," one comment raved.

Most fans are psyched about this rerelease, but some are bummed about the price difference. "What happened to it being $3.99 😆," wrote one person. Another pointed out that the higher price should automatically make the sandwich a combo meal. "For $7, it better come with a side and drink," they said. Right now, whether the sandwich is retailed separately or comes as a combo is unconfirmed.

Ultimately, most of us are excited about this new addition coming to stories. Now, if only they could bring back the combo pizzas and brisket sandwiches. Sigh.
