Meghan Markle is back, baby, with her new Netflix series, With Love, Meghan. The series, available to stream on Netflix, follows the Duchess of Sussex in a Montecito kitchen and garden, where she offers a peek into her home life. Along the way, she welcomes guests like Mindy Kaling and Alice Waters, and they discuss their home-cooked meals and recipes. As for Prince Harry, he makes a brief appearance in the final episode—though I would’ve loved to hear his take on British cuisine.
The show is wholesome and light-hearted, but there are some interesting moments. Like that clip of her zesting a lemon? I know I’m not the only one who clocked that.
Users on X and Reddit noticed a bunch of hilariously awkward moments in the series, and in true social media fashion, they took to the sites to share their reactions.
One Redditor commented: "Why does she put flowers on everything she cooks 😭😭??" Another, on X, pointed out Meghan’s quirky humor. "Love how Meghan just throws random facts into a convo with Roy 😂😂 or a dry pun like ‘wing it’ when she’s talking about brining a chicken 😂😂😂," they wrote. "She’s adorbs lol."
"Some of the [show’s] ideas are kind of cute, and it's sort of unintentionally hilarious how earnest she is—like she's saving the world one jar of bath salts at a time," read another comment.
Fans also couldn’t get enough of her chicken coop. Yep, the former Suits actress raises chickens in her backyard, manages bees, and cultivates a fruit and veggie garden. She even built a homemade balloon archway for her kid's birthday party. The "people’s princess," indeed.
"Still cackling from Meghan’s momentum of the ‘chick-nic table’ at Archie’s Chick Inn," one person wrote. "M is actually very funny 😂."
If you haven’t watched With Love, Meghan, this is your sign to grab a glass of wine, take notes, and start streaming. It’s the perfect mix of fun, food, and laughter for your downtime.
