Not everyone is a fan of J.K. Rowling, but everyone loves Harry Potter. The magical fandom is still going strong almost 30 years after that first fateful book was released. And like its eponymous wizard hero, Harry Potter idolization shows no signs of slowing down. From Hogwarts-inspired gingerbread houses to themed cafes to kitchen gadgets, many brands draw inspiration from the expansive wizarding world.

The latest to hop on the Hogwarts Express to Potterville? Pepperidge Farm Goldfish! For a limited time, the brand is selling Butterbeer Goldfish, and we had our wands (and hands) at the ready to get a first taste. The crackers, which are described as butterscotch-flavored baked grahams, aren't your typical savory Goldfish snack. Instead, they err on the sweeter side and Delish editors had strong opinions on the cute snack.

Most of us were fans—many Delish editors likened them to Teddy Grahams. However, there was one outlier who found the taste (and scent) to be cloyingly sweet. "It smells a lot worse than it actually tastes. Maybe if I plugged my nose it would be a more enjoyable eating experience," said Delish Associate Editor Gabby Romero.

Although technically Goldfish, the new snack comes in more than just its quintessential fish shape. You'll also find butterbeer barrels and mugs among the shapes in your bag. While the scent wafting from the bag was more potent than the actual flavor, the majority of staffers were pleasantly surprised by the limited edition snack. "Smells like butterbeer, tastes like a great graham cracker," said Delish Food Editor Taylor Ann Spencer.

Teddy Grahams weren't the only food comparisons. Members of the team compared the new butterbeer Goldfish to Dunkaroos, Honeycomb Cereal, and British biscuits. "I wish it was a little bigger so I could dip it in my tea," said Delish Designer Alison Dominguez.

Although not as rich as your typical butterbeer, the Goldfish "crackers" got two thumbs up overall. While you wouldn't necessarily clock that these are butterbeer flavored, they do taste good. Do you need to buy these? Maybe only if you're a huge Harry Potter fan. Delish Contributing Test Kitchen Assistant Anya Ptacek put it best: "It's giving graham cracker. But in a fun, more butterscotchy way."

As all good wizards say, mischief managed.
