The "secret menu" at In-N-Out Burger is far from secret. Every day, thousands of customers order Animal Style fries, 3x3 burgers, and other items that aren't on the official menu. But now some customers are ordering bizarre items that aren't actually even on the secret menu, and In-N-Out workers are sick of it.

Los Angeles-based news station KTLA 5 reports that fake secret menu items are blowing up, thanks to social media. And one of those menu items, the Monkey Style burger, recently found viral fame.

The nonexistent Monkey Style burger is said to consist of Animal Style fries piled on a burger. In a TikTok uploaded earlier this month, user @hungryhotline declared it "the best SECRET MENU ITEM at IN N OUT."

In-N-Out employees fired back in the comments, begging diners not to order fake items.

"As an in n out associate please do not ask for this it not a real thing along with the chicken and the onion rings," they wrote.

"This isn't a thing don't do this," another wrote. "We already hate a lot of you that order every onion possible."

And in 2022, a group of friends had quite the laugh when they attempted to order Doggy Style fries at an In-N-Out drive-thru. This fake secret menu item includes fries topped with sliced hot dogs (despite the restaurant not selling hot dogs).

This isn't the first time restaurant employees have grown fed up with secret menu items. Last year, after the Waffle House sandwich went viral it was reported that several locations demanded that customers stick to ordering from the regular menu.

"Order from the menu we are not making anything you saw on TikTok," read a sign posted outside of a Waffle House.
