McDonald's is continuing to surprise us this summer. Not long after the restaurant revealed that it would be releasing an exciting new McFlurry (and an anime-inspired garlic sauce!), they've announced the return of a fan-favorite.

Returning to McDonald's menus for a limited time is the Smoky BLT Quarter Pounder With Cheese. The burger made its debut in 2022 and features a signature, 100% fresh beef Quarter Pounder patty, slices of melty American cheese, thick cut applewood smoked bacon, fresh Roma tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and a special, smoky BLT sauce.

Serving as the star of the show, the smoky BLT sauce is seasoned with paprika, parsley, and black pepper. McDonald's describes it as a "sweet and tangy, savory and garlicy sauce" that flaunts "a lingering smokiness."

McDonald's new Kit Kit Banana Split McFlurry and the Smoky BLT Quarter Pounder With Cheese will both be available beginning today. A Double Smoky BLT Quarter Pounder With Cheese option will also be offered to customers.

Not only is McDonald's bringing back fan-faves and introducing customers to potential new favorites, they've also introduced a $5 Meal Deal for summer. The budget-friendly deal includes your choice of a McDouble or McChicken sandwich, small fries, four-piece Chicken McNuggets, and a small soft drink for five bucks.

Of all the new additions to McDonald's menu, which one are you most excited to try? And yes, "all of them" is a perfectly acceptable answer.
