An upstate New York mom recorded a video last week of a woman being kicked off an airplane, and it quickly went viral. Recorded by Marissa Rundell, the video shows a passenger "screaming" at Delta Airlines staff on a flight from New York's JFK Airport to Syracuse's Hancock Airport. The passenger was allegedly complaining about her seating location near Rundell's 8-month-old baby.

Rundell has since deleted the video from her Facebook page—but not before it was viewed nearly 2 million times and posted on YouTube.

The agitated passenger was later identified Susan Peirez, a program director for the NY State Council on the Arts. She was suspended from her job for her behavior after the video was released.

"State employees are and must be held to the highest standard both professionally and personally," the Director of Public Information, Ronni Reich, said in a statement. "This employee has been removed from the office and placed on leave until further notice."

Rundell, who began filming Peirez on her phone after asking her to stop cursing around her son, claims that Peirez told her to "shut the f*** up and shove it." Still, Rundell now says she feels bad for the woman.

"I never thought. . . it would go as far as it did," she told Spectrum News.

In an interview with Inc, Rundell continued: "I kind of feel bad for this lady. I don't know her story, she doesn't know mine. It might have been a misunderstanding. I was sharing [the video] for family members, and it started going crazy."
