There are many amazing ways to roast your turkey come Thanksgiving, but the easiest one might just be, well, not doing it yourself. Popeyes knows this is an enticing option which is why the fast food chain is bringing back its done-for-you roasted turkeys this year. They're still making them Cajun-style—because, why not—meaning they're marinated with Louisiana seasonings, then slow-roasted and flash-fried.

Some other details have changed, though: Instead of weighing in around nine to 13 pounds, this year's birds will be bigger—10 to 14 pounds. They'll cost you more, too. Last year, Popeyes was selling their whole turkeys for about $40 a pop. This year, they'll be $50 on average, though that'll change depending on the Popeyes location you visit.

Most Popeyes outposts will carry the turkeys through Thanksgiving, but some will keep them in stock through Christmas.

Between playing host to your very large group of family and friends and cooking a dinner you can get on the table in a decent amount of time, cooking for the holidays can be a pretty hectic experience. This year, Popeyes has your back: The restaurant is taking the weight of preparing one of the most stressful items in your holiday spread, a.k.a. the turkey.

Popeyes is selling cajun turkeys throughout the holiday season, so now you'll have one less thing to worry about if you're planning your own holiday feast. According to Brand Eating, each bird ranges from 9 to 13 pounds, and is seasoned with cajun spices before being roasted and deep-fried. You can snag one at $39.99 a pop from any participating Popeyes but just be aware that, even though the turkeys come fully cooked, they're also frozen, so you'll obviously have to take some time to thaw them out before popping them in the oven.

This deal sounds pretty hard to pass up — especially for anyone hosting Thanksgiving dinner for the first time this year, as it's a great way to ensure that you don't mess up the most important part of the meal. If you're interested in taking advantage of it, you can order your cajun turkey from Popeyes in advance and pick it up whenever you please.
