Halloween is nearly here, but if you haven't noticed, stores have already moved on to the winter holidays. And since that means the return of Hot Cocoa Place and Bake Cookie Dough, I, for one, am here for it.
Instagrammer CandyHunting spotted this at Hy-Vee but a quick search found that they're also available at Walmart for $2.50, so I guess you figured out what you're baking this weekend.

It's only the middle of October but— after Pumpkin Spice Mania 2017 — you've probably had all the pumpkin spice desserts you can handle. That's why this is a perfectly good time for snack companies to start rolling out treats that'll psych you up for the holiday season. And life beyond cinnamon-nutmeg-everything.
Case in point: Pillsbury's hot cocoa-flavored cookie dough. Just thinking about it makes you want to snuggle up in front of a fireplace or something, doesn't it?
After being spotted for the first time last year, the limited-edition, ready-to-bake cookies have made their way back into grocery stores this month, and food blogger Snack Betch was among the first to share the news with its 18,000-plus Instagram followers.
The hot cocoa treats are exactly what you'd imagine them to be: chocolate dough studded with mini marshmallows and chocolate chips. Basically, they're Swiss Miss hot chocolate in cookie form. And, speaking of Swiss Miss, to really get into the spirit of things, it would only make sense to eat these sweet along with a mug of hot cocoa. Because you're meta like that.
You can buy them now in grocery stores nationwide.
