So far, Nestle has never failed to disappoint when pulling a new flavor of Kit Kat Chunky out of the bag — and it appears they're now about to go bigger than ever before.
In just over a week, the chocolate giant is officially launching the New York Cheesecake Kit Kat Chunky and I'm freaking out.
First, the bad news: It'll only be available in the U.K. or online for the time being.
Now, the good/delicious news: The chocolate and wafter bar is "topped off with a creamy-tasting layer of New York Cheesecake filling" and will be hitting shelves on September 18. But get this, some people have managed to get their hands on one already.
Branches of U.K. grocery store, Tesco, are reportedly selling the New York Cheesecake Kit Kat Chunky already and those who have succeeded in scoffing one have been quick to brag online.
Food blogger Nibbles 'n' Scribbles said: "Most of the cheesecake flavored things *here's looking at you Krispy Kreme* fall extremely short of actually resembling anything like cheesecake however this one seemed different. The creamy milk chocolate started off as the star of the show, then in came a smooth yet slightly intense vanilla flavor that did not taste artificial.
"The wafer acted as the base of the cheesecake and didn't do a bad job. To me it had a light tanginess to it too, it could have done with a bit more but this is by far the best cheesecake flavored jobby I have had."
Will it be as nice as the Peanut Butter Kit Kat Chunky? Or maybe you're more of a Cookie Dough kinda person. There's only one way to find out...everyone buy a plane ticket and let's meet at Tesco! (Or, uh, you can just try and buy it online. That might be easier.)
