Over the weekend Jennifer Lopez – budding fitness guru and TV judge extraordinaire – threw the most extravagant joint birthday party with her boyfriend, former baseball player Alex Rodriguez.
The mother of two hit the scene in a stunning see-through and velvet black dress, exposing some seriously sculpted abs and a pair of very toned arms; reminding us that 48 can look as good (or better than) 20.
But even while strutting in her killer 'fit, JLo was undoubtedly upstaged by her magnificent six layer birthday cake.
Just look at that thing, it's basically half her size.
The over-the-top dessert was made by Miami bakery Divine Delicacies, which is known for applying stunning details work and intricate fondant work. The family-owned bakery is considered "Miami's Premiere Celebrity Baker," and has been sought out by the likes of Rihanna, Lebron James, and Kim Kardashian.
The over-the-top cake used more than 10,000 Swarovski crystals and featured life-like fondant roses. Not to mention the custom made name tag also made with Swarovski crystals. However the fun didn't stop there. ARod also got his own four layer cake. The Art Deco dessert featured far fewer crystals, but was still extravagant nonetheless.
The weekend festivities spilled over into Monday, where the celebs hosted a private get together with close family and friends. And ARod surprised the entertainer with yet another incredible gold cake.
We're sensing a theme here. But you can't blame the guy, it is JLo that he's courting.
