Who knew Food Network favorite Katie Lee had such an eye for design? Her massive Hamptons home is all glamour, and it's now officially on the market for cheaper than ever.
A collaborative effort between her and designer Nate Berkus, Lee first listed the luxe estate two summers ago for a whopping $6.5 million, according to 6sqft. Since her Cooking Channel show "Beach Bites" took off, she seems to have had enough sun and is ready to move on from the summer spot. She just recently reduced the price to $5.5 million!
The seven-bedroom home boasts 6,325 square feet of space, resting on 1.84 acres of lush greenery, and the interiors are perfectly-curated beach glam. Thanks to Berkus, the custom design makes for an idyllic getaway with plenty of Hamptons elegance.
The double-height foyer and living room feature a soothing coastal green with clean white trim and sophisticated dark wood floors. Inside the library, Berkus went for a warmer, earthy palette by incorporating a stone fireplace, custom wood cabinets, and darker-hued furniture.
On the first floor, you'll find a spacious guest suite which Lee uses as a home office. Upstairs, the master suite features a massive walk-in closet, and ensuite bathroom, and a fireplace, for the most glam nights-in imaginable.
Through the small foyer, you'll find four more bedrooms that each have their own en-suite bathrooms.
Attached to the living room is a wet-bar with a mirrored back and French doors that open to the backyard.
There's no surprising that the kitchen is a chef's dream. With a restaurant-grade stone, a third oven, and a butler's pantry, you'll have a lot of foodie potential to live up to!
Lee told DuJour, "For someone who likes to cook, the Hamptons are paradise. 'Farm-to-table' is an overused expression. I can have a dinner party and only serve things that were grown within a 30-mile radius. It's inspiring."
Lee also owns a Greenwich Village townhouse, but there's no way it has space like this Hamptons mansion. Out back you'll find a massive pool, a covered porch, a restaurant-grade pizza oven, and a fire pit.
